• Live USPS shipping rates fetched at checkout, based on the cart's real weight, dimensions and destination.
• Built on the new USPS REST API with OAuth 2.0 authentication, the official replacement for the retired USPS Web Tools XML API.

• Rates are returned and applied in US Dollars (USD). The plugin does not perform any currency conversion, so your VirtueMart store should be configured to use USD as its currency.

Full USPS Service Coverage

• Domestic: Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, USPS Ground Advantage, First-Class Package Service, Media Mail and Library Mail.
• Flat Rate: Small, Medium and Large Flat Rate Boxes plus Flat Rate, Legal and Padded Envelopes, for both Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express.
• International: Priority Mail International, Priority Mail Express International, First-Class Package International Service and Global Express Guaranteed, plus international flat rate boxes and envelopes.
• Each VirtueMart shipping method maps to a single USPS service, so you control exactly which options shoppers see.

Smart Packaging and Box Logic

• Smart Flat Rate: a 3D box-packing algorithm checks whether the products physically fit inside a flat rate container, and hides the option when they don't.
• Multi-Box Shipping: automatically splits orders that exceed your maximum box weight into multiple boxes and adds up the rates.
• Configurable outer box dimensions and maximum box weight per shipping method.
• Optional cart weight padding (by percentage) to account for packaging materials.
• Machinable package toggle for single-piece and ground services.

Pricing and Display Control

• Show Cheapest Option Only: collapse multiple qualifying methods to just the lowest-priced one. Compare flat rate boxes only, all flat rate options, or every enabled USPS service.
• Handling fees: add none, a flat dollar amount, a percentage of the shipping cost, or a percentage of the cart total, with precise rounding to your store currency.
• Per-method tax rules, handled correctly through VirtueMart's tax totals.
• Per-method logos to display next to each shipping option at checkout.

Flexible Shipping Restrictions

• Restrict any method by destination country.
• Restrict by ZIP / postal code range.
• Restrict by minimum and maximum order amount.
• Show a method only when products from selected categories are in the cart.
• Block a method when products from selected categories are in the cart, ideal for oversized or hazardous items.
