I have a problem in VirtueMart when i use string custom field and give it a price value. the price added to the base price and have the discount calculations, i need that the price will add to the sale price after the discount calculations or to an override price.



for example

lamp with a 10% discount
or lamp with an override price of 90$

base price: 100$
sale price: 90$

custom field of color: black 100$

the final sale price will be 180 [(100-10% = 90 )+(100-10% = 90) = 180$] instead of 190$ [ (100-10% = 90 ) + 100 = 190]



the color black 100$ will get affected by 10% and i don't want it.

what will happen in override price, it will be added to the base price with no effect on the override price.

base price: 100$
sale price: 90$

custom field of color: black 100$

the base price will be 200$ and the override will remain 90$

This will need some hacking of VirtueMart's core price calculation helper file -

administrator/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/calculationh.php

This can not be done using plugins.
