I'm setting up a website that sells tours, and need to create 2 cart variants, similar to the page below:
www.viator.com/tours/Oahu/Oahu-Shark-Dive/d672-3246SHARK
The 1st one lets the customer select a tour date, by choosing from a drop-down menu, or clicking on a calendar.
The 2nd one lets the customer input the number adults, and children. There are 2-3 different prices depending on age, which are calculated automatically, and placed in the cart at the same time.
Is this possible with virtuemart? I've seen a few sites out there, but can't figure out how to do it.

Standard VirtueMart does not have such custom field option. You will need to create a new Custom Filed plugin which can serve this purpose. If you want us to develop this plugin for your then you can PM me for a customization quote.
