Problems with install

Hi, really like look and feel of your templates.

I'm having a problem installing the all-together version of the latest template. This isn't a template issue, but maybe a MySQL issue? During joomla install using your download, it will not let me past the create database page.

I have new database and user set up properly. I think it relates to the database tables etc being too big/too many for my default settings.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips for settings tweaks to get past this, or any pointers on error log locations I could look at to troubleshoot?

Thanks
Jeff

It is impossible to guess where exactly you are facing the problem. It can happen due to many reasons. Some of the common problems are given below:
  1. Older version MySQL server which does not support InnoDB.
  2. Low MySQL server execution time limit.
  3. Low PHP execution time limit.
  4. Some Javascript errors which run the Joomla installer.

You also did not mention which Quick Start package you are using. Please confirm the same for better understanding. If you want we can check the exact problem in your site. For that you need to PM me the following details of your site.

1. FTP Access.
2. MySQL server access / cPanel access.
3. You domain name / url

Thanks Jumbo - problem solved. I rolled back my Easy Apache settings and it worked. Not sure what was causing the problem, but for now will go with working setup. thanks again.
