There are two problems:
1 - the quantity box does not work on the product page.
2 - The product is not added to the cart, always says empty cart

When in cart with one page check out, if I empty the card the page goes into refresh loop.

I am unable to change anything in the framework backend, the url changes when I click but the output remains on the initial options page.

I have now tried all the usual things to solve what I believe is a javascript conflict somewhere. My site has had all extensions disabled, fresh upload of Joomla 3.3.6 over the top. Fresh install of core media directory.
Still no options in the backend, the save buttons don't work - only close. None of the styling links/options work, it is unusable entirely and I have to say a little disappointing.
I am used to being able to pick up a VP product and tweak it a little but go live in minutes, this has had my site offline for the best part of the day now and I cannot see it being quickly fixed either. I was pretty excited about the template too as I had just styled a Magento template almost exactly the same and was 99% up for migrating to Magento due to ongoing annoyances with VM. The VP template was hopefully putting this back to 50/50 but with how badly it works I am seriously considering just migrating after all.
Any JS conflicts you know of that I can easily diagnose Jumbo?

Consider using 'dppx' units, as in CSS 'dpi' means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual 'dpi' of a screen. In media query expression: only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), only screen and (min-resolution: 144dpi)

Did find out about the problems. It is essential to NOT USE mod_pagespeed on the web server. Seems that mod_pagespeed produces a lot of problems together with the merchant template!
All these issues are already resolved in the final release of the template. It is better you uninstall the previous installation and install a fresh copy of the template. That will resolve the issues. Quick start package is also available.
