Taxes / US Zip Code
This is a VM2 question, not theme specific. Are you familiar with taxes and US states, zip codes? In many US states you not only have a state tax, but also taxes per zip codes usually associated with cities. The core tax module in VM 2 does not seem to allow for this. I have searched through their forum, google etc looking for an off-the-shelf solution, really any solution. Do you know of anything?

We are based in India so I do not have much knowledge about US Taxations. However please note that it is not possible to set different tax structure for different states in VirtueMart 2.0. You can only set the same for different countries.

Actually, yes you can set up a tax rate per U.S. state. That is fairly straight-forward. The problem is in the need for configuring the additional hundreds of tax rates within a state for each zip code. Moving on, do you know of any virtuemart developers who would know how to implement a hack or whatever to make this work?

I have a solution in hand for taxes for VM 1.1.9, not not 2.0. Do any of your virtuemart responsive themes work with 1.1.9?
